“Prime Minister, don’t step on our blood! Stop, the deviation of history”.

With this motto, the children of the martyrs of Kosovo’s Liberation Army (UCK) held a protest on Monday as a revolt against Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s statements about the former Serbian politician, Olivier Ivanovic.

With banners in their hands, they started the march from “Zahir Pajaziti” square to end in “Skenderbej” square, in front of the government building.

Protesters accused politicians of ‘violating’ the blood of martyrs. They consider this a change of history and treason. There was also a request for Kurti’s resignation.

In the end, the protesters placed the banners at the entrance of the government. The protest ended peacefully and without any reported incidents, while it was monitored by the Kosovo police.

Several MPs from opposition parties were also seen at the protest.
