The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, attacked the Rama government in his speech during the opposition protest. Berisha said that Prime Minister Rama and the corrupt government have stolen millions of euros like never before in the history of Albania.

“Today, each of you is on a great mission for yourself, your children, your nation. A mission that will give Albanians the Albania of the 21st century. This mission is fulfilled by young people, democrats, but also repentant socialists, who, from their time, go door to door to distribute the calls and leaflets of this revolution. This mission is fulfilled by mothers and fathers, grandfathers and grandmothers, who have accompanied their children abroad with tears, but are here today with us, until the end, in their name, in the name of Albania. What is the purpose of this revolution? It is the reversal of monism based on crime, drugs, theft and looting of Albanians. Never in history has a man stolen this nation the way Edi Rama stole it with his criminal organization.

Berisha said that with the government’s thefts in the incinerator affair, a 130% increase in the salaries of Albanian citizens could be made.
