The judging body of the Special Appeal Panel reinstated the prosecutor of Tirana, Bledar Maksuti, dismissed by the Independent Qualification Commission.

The jury composed of Albana Shtylla chairperson, Ina Rama relator, Natasha Mulaj, Rezarta Schuetz, Sokol Çomo members, decided to change the decision of date 16.04.2021 of the Independent Qualification Commission and confirm in office the subject of the reassessment Bledar Maksuti.

According to the Independent Qualification Commission, the prosecutor resulted with inaccuracies in the statements and a lack of sources for the property.

Bledar Maksuti is the prosecutor who was in charge of the investigations that led to the discovery of the murder of Behar Sofia, in Tirana.
