Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared on Facebook the data of the World Tourism Organization regarding tourist influx during the last 3 months.

In his post, Rama emphasizes that Albania ranks as the first country in Europe in terms of the increase in the number of tourists, compared to the pandemic period.

In this list, Albania is also ranked third in the world after Qatar, which held the World Cup, and Saudi Arabia.

“The unstoppable growth of tourists who are choosing Albania not only for the summer season by the sea, but now throughout the whole year, from Tirana everywhere from north to south, is confirmed by a spectacular data from the World Tourism Organization, which for first three months of this year ranks Albania third in the world and FIRST in Europe in terms of tourism growth compared to the period before the pandemic, thus heralding a fantastic summer season”, writes Rama.
