The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kana’ani, has reacted in relation to the action of the Albanian police in the Mujahedin camp in Manzë, Durrës.

In his statement, Nasser Kana’ani underlined that Albania should take seriously the threats that may come from Mujahedin organization.

“Elements of the anti-Iran terrorist group Mojahedin-e Khalq, known as MEK will always pose a threat to the security of their host due to their terrorist nature,” Kana’ani wrote on Twitter.

“We hope that the Albanian government will compensate for its mistake in welcoming these terrorists”, he added.

We remind you that following an order issued by SPAK, police officers carried out checks in the Mujahideen camp in Manzë. But the controls of the operatives encountered resistance from the Mujahideen, forcing the police to use tear gas.

During the action, one person remained dead, who, according to the State Police, did not die from the actions of the police, but as a result of a heart attack.
