Chairman of the Socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla argued on Ilva Now the reasons why, according to him, SP will win a third governing term.

Balla said that despite the situation the country is going through due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government is undertaking major political initiatives, which are necessary for the society.

“If you have a look around, although we are in a difficult situation, we are the only country undertaking economic policies, which are necessary in social terms, such as increasing the salaries of the medical staff and teachers,” said Mr. Balla, emphasizing that the citizens are convinced that Albania is better now than it was in year 2013.

“Albania offers more jobs now than it did in 2013… Those, who are called as ‘oligarchs’ by the opposition, are taxed many times more than in 2013,” he added, noting that the country is going through a historic moment, which needs a third governing term of the Socialist Party in order for the reforms to be consolidated.
