Distria Krasniqi brings home silver medal from World Judo Masters

Distria Krasniqi, the judoka from Kosovo, clinched the silver medal at the World Judo Masters held in Budapest, Hungary.

Competing in the fiercely contested 52-kilogram category, Krasniqi showed her prowess by effortlessly passing the first round. In the second round, she demonstrated her skills by defeating Belgian judoka Amber Ryheul.

Continuing her impressive run, Krasniqi secured victory in the quarterfinals against German judoka Mascha Ballhaus.

With determination and skill, she faced Hungarian judoka Reka Pupp in the semifinals and emerged victorious, securing her spot in the much-coveted final.

The stakes were high in the final showdown as Distria Krasniqi took on the French judoka, Amandine Buchard. Despite putting up a fierce fight, Krasniqi was narrowly defeated, settling for a silver medal.
