Kumbaro: More than 78 thousand tourists visited the “Blue Eye” in August alone

The natural wonder known as “Blue Eye” continues to enchant visitors and remains one of the top destinations in Albania for this year, drawing an increasingly higher number of tourists.

Mirela Kumbaro, the Albanian Minister of Tourism and Environment, shared captivating images of this park on her social media platforms, showcasing its breathtaking beauty that never fails to amaze both local and international travelers.

Kumbaro proudly announced that throughout the entire month of August, the “Blue Eye” natural park hosted more than 78,000 visitors.

The “Blue Eye” is hailed as a natural paradise nestled in the heart of Albania and is regarded as a precious gem of summer tourism. It is conveniently situated near the village of Muzinë, close to the Delvinë-Gjirokastër National Road, a mere 30-minute drive from Saranda.

This protected area encompasses a diverse landscape, including pristine water surfaces, lush forests, meadows, and fertile farmland.

From an environmental and scientific perspective, the park’s unique blend of dense forests, year-round greenery, and the crystal-clear, icy waters of the “Blue Eye” spring bestows upon it special national significance, making it a must-visit destination for both tourists and ecologists alike.

The “Blue Eye” continues to attract a multitude of visitors from around the globe, solidifying its status as an unparalleled natural wonder.
