President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, called for the withdrawal of members of the Kosovo Police from the north of Kosovo.

This call of the Serbian leader comes at a time when the security authorities have confirmed for Radio Free Europe that the presence of special units of the Kosovo Police in the northern part has increased.

During the meeting with the Danish Foreign Minister, Lars Rasmussen, in Belgrade on September 28, he called on the international community to take all measures to prevent the “dangerous and irresponsible moves of Pristina” and “to protect the Serbian population”, announced The Serbian Presidency.

Vucic described the situation in Kosovo as “the most complicated and dangerous so far” and added that the events of September 24 are “the clearest indicator of Pristina’s intentions to prevent any agreement with Belgrade.”

According to the Serbian president, his country “is ready to work on continuing the dialogue mediated by the European Union”.
