The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has commemorated the 75th anniversary of the creation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a fundamental document in the history of humanity.

Through a reaction on Facebook, Begaj says that this 75th anniversary coincides with the election of Albania for the third time as a member of the UN Human Rights Council.

He also says that Albanian institutions will continue to protect and promote Human Rights for more freedom, justice and equality for all.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the fundamental document that marked the history of human rights, today coincides with the 75th anniversary of its creation.

The Declaration of Human Rights is the common ideal, for which all peoples and nations strive to achieve, so that each individual can enjoy the basic human rights and freedoms equally and without discrimination.

It is a beautiful coincidence that on its 75th anniversary, Albania was elected a member of the UN Human Rights Council for the third time.

Our institutions will continue to protect and promote Human Rights for a world of freedom, justice and equality for all.
