A session is being held in the Assembly of North Macedonia, where the Technical Government is expected to be voted on, which will be led by the former Speaker of the Assembly, Talat Xhaferi.

Xhaferi succeeds Dimitar Kovačevski as Prime Minister, who resigned based on the Law on Elections, which stipulates that in 100 days before the elections, a technical Government will be elected, which has a mandate for the organization and smooth running of the election process.
