The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has expressed his congratulations to the Prime Minister of the interim government in North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, through a post on Facebook.

In his congratulation, the Prime Minister of Kosovo has expressed the certainty that under the leadership of Xhaferi, we will have a North Macedonia with a strong Euro-Atlantic orientation and away from the strings of Moscow. He also stated that he will continue the path of intergovernmental cooperation with his counterpart Mr. Xhaferi, just as it happened with his predecessor, Kovacevski.

“The former Speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia, Mr. I would like to wish Talat Xhaferi success for his new task, that of the Prime Minister in the technical government, which after three months will lead our neighboring and partner country to elections. I hope that friendship and coordination for joint projects will be hallmarks of our two governments during Xhaferi’s administration.

A North Macedonia with a strong Euro-Atlantic orientation, a partner of Pristina and the West and as far away from Moscow and its threads as possible, a North Macedonia that promotes the values ​​of coexistence and fights ethnic discrimination, is what we want. For these goals and for many other cooperations, I am sure that we will continue the path of intergovernmental cooperation with our counterpart Mr. Xhaferi, just as it happened with his predecessor, Mr. Kovacevski, whom I congratulate for the values ​​he reflected during his leadership”, Kurti wrote.
