The great Albanian writer, Ismail Kadare celebrates his 88th birthday today. On this day marked for Kadare, there have been many congratulations from Albanian politicians on social networks.

Prime Minister Rama has published a video on Facebook, with a song, the lines of which are taken from the poem ‘In the park that covered the sheets’, by Ismail Kadare.

Meanwhile, President Begaj and the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, congratulated Kadare by sharing photos with him and wishing a long life for a man who has made every Albanian around the world proud.
