The President of Serbia and member of the leadership of SNS, Aleksandar Vučić, said today that he has proposed that the candidate for President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia be Ana Brnabić.

“The party has decided that the candidate for the mayor of Belgrade is Aleksandar Šapić, while the candidate for the speaker of the Assembly is Ana Brnabić”, said Vučić, writes Euronews Serbia.

According to him, Ana Brnabić is the most positive surprise in politics and the person who has progressed faster and more.

“I have never seen anyone who learned so quickly, who fought so hard and bravely, that in a world that is unfortunately dominated by men, that she fought heroically like few politicians, that she worked hard.
It is hard for me to imagine that even as president of the Republic I will not cooperate with her, because since I was president, she has been prime minister, but she will hold the second most important post in Serbia. She is the president of the National Assembly, she has a lot to show, a lot to do for her country and she is satisfied and happy for the new challenge, as I said, I just don’t know how I will learn”, said Vučić.
