Serbia’s chief negotiator in the dialogue with Kosovo, Petar Petković, said that Kosovo’s acceptance as an associate member of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly “exposed the entire policy of double standards of the West”.

Petković accuses the West of “once again rewarding its own child”.

“What are the Western sanctions against Pristina, during which the so-called Kosovo receives visa liberalization, participates in all international gatherings and advances towards some international organizations?”, said Petković.

He went even further, saying that recently the West “is exerting strong pressure on Serbia and the Serbian people, because it is clear that a strong Serbia with Aleksandar Vučić at the head is a thorn in the side of many Western powers”.
