The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, will represent the country at a summit for peace in Ukraine, which will be held this weekend in Burgenstok, Switzerland.

According to an announcement by the Presidency of Kosovo, Osmani will “reaffirm the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to continue supporting Ukraine until victory” at this summit.

Also according to the announcement, Osmani will speak about the importance of comprehensive global support “to achieve long-term and sustainable peace”.

Nearly 90 countries and organizations will participate in the summit, according to Switzerland’s presidency, Viola Amherd.

According to her, the participants in the summit – about half of whom will be heads of state or government – will try to find a way to stop the fighting.
