On Monday afternoon, the Socialist Party gathered the new Presidency that came out of the General Assembly the day before.
Sources for Euronews Albania that the division of political leadership in Tirana for SP, Erion Veliaj will be the political leader for the entire district, Ogerta Manastirliu will deal with the party structure in Tirana municipality, while Elisa Spiropali will deal with the party structure in the other municipalities of the district: Kamra, Vora, Rrogozhina and Kavaja.
Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, also ordered for the diaspora, which has been left with a political leader. It is expected to set up a structure which has not yet been made public. Also, meetings with the diaspora are expected to return.
In the meeting, Rama also discussed the open and closed lists, which he spoke about the day before in the assembly, where he said that he and the political leaders will compete in an open list.
Rama is said to have said that it is unclear how their deployment will be carried out, but this matter has been left to be discussed in another meeting.
