Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, has had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, the newly elected foreign minister, Andrii Sybiha.

The news was made known by Hasani himself through a post on the social network “X”, where he writes that during the conversation he expressed his congratulations and support to the new Ukrainian minister for his task.

He also writes that he has reconfirmed Albania’s steadfast commitment to the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

“Today I had a telephone conversation with my Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha. I expressed my warmest wishes and my full support in his new role during these challenging times.

I reaffirmed Albania’s steadfast commitment to the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine,” Minister Igli Hasani wrote on the X platform.
