This Monday, China’s Cultural Week, part of the International Cultural Weeks, opened its doors for all activities.
The exhibition “Friends, Art and History” opened at the Art Gallery of Tirana, curated by the painter Helidon Haliti, while the ambassador of China to Albania was also present.
“This exhibition coincides with the 75th anniversary of Albania-China relations. In the exhibition we have more than 60 paintings by more than 20 painters from China and Albania. I believe that this exhibition will play a positive role in strengthening the friendship between the people of the two countries. In the new era, bilateral relations have developed in a healthy and stable manner. The Chinese side wants to strengthen coordination with the Albanian side to strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the two countries in the future”, said the ambassador of China to Albania,” said the ambassador of China to Albania, Pang Chunxue.
The exhibited works are made in the medium of watercolor, by world-renowned Chinese masters, such as Liu Yi, Zhou Tianya, LI Xiaocheng, Rick Huang, Wang Hai Tao, Hu Xiaoxing, etc.
In the canvases of these artists, nature, folklore and landscape dominate.
“We have been working for several months. We absolutely invited the most vocal artists internationally. These are works that they did during the trip to Albania. It is an exhibition held mainly in watercolor technique. It will be an exhibition that will stay open for a week,” said curator Helidon Haliti.
The Chinese Cultural Week will last until September 28, during which concerts, fun games, demonstrations of Chinese calligraphy will be held throughout the days, while a wide range of traditional Chinese dishes will be offered.
