The Minister of State for Relations with Parliament, Taulant Balla, held a meeting with Albanians in Augsburg, Germany, where he emphasized the key role of the diaspora in preserving the Albanian language and culture.

Balla said that over 35 classes have been organized in the Land of Bavaria for learning the Albanian language, appreciating the commitment of the cultural centers in the promotion of the national culture and language.

He emphasized the importance of preserving the Albanian identity through language and culture, mentioning that the efforts of the Albanian government will continue to support these cultural centers and Albanian language classes.

Also, the Minister of State for Relations with Parliament thanked the Consulates of Albania and Kosovo for their cooperation and care for the Albanian diaspora in such activities. According to him, the union of Albanians from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and the Presevo Valley shows the common love for the Albanian flag and language.

“Thank you for the invitation to this important cultural center, which promotes the best values ​​of the Albanian nation, promotes the Albanian language, promotes Albanian literature and why not, and also supports boys and girls who want to do sports. I often say, not only in this case, but also in other cases as an example that the national football team of Albania is the most beautiful example, how boys from all Albanian countries come together to raise our national flag high, so I really like that in this center where we are today, where boys and girls, children learn the Albanian language, we gather and read poems in the Albanian language and promote our beautiful Albanian language.

I was two days ago in our consulates, since the consulate general of the Republic of Albania and the consulate general of the Republic of Kosovo are in the same building. I want to thank both Consuls for the care they take for their participation in as many activities as possible.

Even the presence here today is very significant, we have Albanians from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and from Presevo and this is something very beautiful that what brings us together is love for the nation, love for the flag, love for the Albanian language. I want to guarantee you on behalf of the Albanian Government that we will continue to do everything necessary to support these cultural centers, to support Albanian language classes”, said Balla.
