Long queues of vehicles were registered on Thursday at the entrance to the Qafë-Thana border crossing point.

The flow is so great that the drivers are waiting for minutes to cross the border even in the conditions when there are 5 counters at the entrance and often the joint control is done with an accelerated procedure.

All this flow has come because many Albanians from North Macedonia and not only want to spend the weekend days in Albania

Official sources near the border police station in Qafë Thane said that the parties are discussing to work until the normalization of the situation with an accelerated procedure.
