Foreign trade is bringing less income to the Albanian market.

In September, our country collected 31 billion ALL from the sale of goods, or 8.5% less than the income of the previous year.

Foreign trade shrank by 8.5 percent in September, with the value of exports falling to 31 billion ALL.

The tendency for Albania to earn less lek by selling goods in other countries started in 2022, with fluctuations after each month, which were mainly influenced by the fall of the euro.

However, the decline seems to have slowed down, if we compare it with the month of August when exports fell by 18%.

On the other hand, INSTAT data show that in September, we not only sold less, but also bought less.

Imports of goods reached the value of 71 billion ALL, decreasing by 3%, compared to a year ago.

If we talk about the 9-month period, exports of goods reached the value of 286 billion ALL, decreasing by 14%, compared to a year ago, while imports of goods reached the value of 666 billion ALL, increasing by 2.4%, compared to a year ago.

According to goods, the group of textiles and shoes, as well as minerals and fuels, had an impact on the decline in prices.
