The Secretariat of Ethics decided to exclude the deputies of the Democratic Party, Elda Hoti and Petrit Doda, from the Assembly for a period of 10 days.
This measure comes after examining their behavior during parliamentary sessions, taking into account the violations of the rules of ethics and conduct in state institutions.
MP Hoti caused a stir in the session by pouring a bottle of liquid on the chairs and table, which was suspected to be petrol, but she dismissed the claim, saying it was just flavoring.
Her action caused the interruption of the session for 10 minutes by the speaker Elisa Spiropali, due to complaints from some deputies about the heavy smell.
On the other hand, MP Doda was the one who, at the start of the session, gathered several chairs in front of the floor of the Assembly, and then tried several times to stop the work of the Assembly.
He also had a debate with members of the Guard, stating that one of the colleagues of the Guard had threatened him with his life.
