The head of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufca, called the approach of the European Union towards Kosovo, specifically regarding the issue of the association of Serbian municipalities, discriminatory.
He was harsh with the way the EU, according to him, claims to take away a constitutional right from Kosovo, due to the delay.
Furthermore, Konjufca said that the draft statute of the Association, proposed and drafted by the EU, is unacceptable, as it should be drafted by the Kosovo institutions themselves.
However, it was the opposition who reminded the Speaker that they did not have these positions when this draft was brought to Pristina by the EU.
Meanwhile, LDK reminded him of the advice he had given him from the beginning so that the country does not end up in the position it is in now.
All this was said after the meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly, when they were asked about what is expected to be requested from the EU progress report for this year, which is the main request for Pristina and Belgrade, the urgent implementation of the agreements reached including the association.
