The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during a discussion in Switzerland organized by the Swiss Society for Foreign Policy, criticized Serbia’s attitudes towards the region and its role in international politics. Kurti accused Belgrade of continuing to follow the policy of the “Greater Serbia” project and of deceiving the West with its actions.

According to Kurti, Serbia continues to represent the interests of Russia and China in the Balkans, describing it as a “gateway” for Russian and Chinese influence in Europe. “The West is making a mistake by judging Serbia as a reliable partner,” Kurti said, criticizing the approach of Western countries to Belgrade.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo emphasized that the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vučič, has not given up his goal to have influence in Kosovo, and that the idea of ”Greater Serbia” continues to be a living project in the politics of Belgrade, even though in other forms.

Kurti called for the countries of Europe and the Balkans to be prepared for the possibility of a revenge from Serbia. Regarding the elections in the United States of America, he emphasized that the victory of Donald Trump does not pose any danger for Kosovo.
