Some areas in Elbasan district are without electricity due to bad weather and strong wind.

OSHEE (Electricity Distribution Operator Company) announces that currently 324 subscribers are without electricity in the entire Elbasan district.

The most difficult situation is presented in the municipalities of Librazhd, Përrenjas, Gramsh. The atmospheric conditions have caused damage to the energy sector, especially in the area of ​​Librazhd.

In order to eliminate the damages, the working groups have been on the ground for 48 hours and are working to repair the defects. The transformers in some neighborhoods of the villages of Librazhd were burned by the atmospheric discharges.

Also, on the high and medium voltage lines, there have been cases of falling trees which have caused damage to the energy network in the villages of Librazhd: Togëz, Dorëz, Zgosht, Fushë Struden Steblevë, Neshët, Dranovicë, Orenjë, Librazhd Qendër, Vehçan, Xhyre, Polis, Sopot.
