The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, in the presence of many children, has lit the lights of the New Year’s tree in “Skënderbej” square.

Veliaj said that “by turning on the light of the holidays, everyone should also turn on the light of the heart”.

The ceremony was followed by a festive concert by the children present. The concert for “White Night” in Tirana was also announced.
