Prime Minister Edi Rama today presented the project for the Transparent Albania platform, which, as he said, will be “a unique gateway for quick and easy access to information, which places budget transparency as a priority”.

The Prime Minister emphasized that this platform, which is still in the design and consultation phase, will be an added responsibility for public administration employees to serve and perform with maximum correctness and transparency.

“An innovation, which is very important, is its interactivity, which means that until today, a citizen or a representative of the media, addressed to a certain institution did not receive an answer in time, then addressed to the commissioner, then the commissioner of addressed to the institution. With the platform, you will be able to follow the status of the request in real time, and on the other hand, the platform has a mechanism that signals the institution that this request is going to burn the deadlines
and thus puts before the responsibility anyone in that institution, that is the office or the person, who must answer, but on the other hand it gives the institution and the leadership in the institution the overview and performance in relation to this primary and elementary obligation of the executive towards the citizens.
