Prime Minister Edi Rama expects Albania to become a member of the European Union by 2030. His message was conveyed in the newspaper “Corriere Della Sera”, in an interview where he also talked about the 2025 elections, foreign policy and governance since year 2013.

Sitting at the negotiating table for membership in the European Union is one of Albania’s most important achievements in 2024.

This sentence is quoted by Prime Minister Edi Rama, in an interview given to the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera and which continues with his wish, that the process be completed by 2030.

The interview also touches on the year 2025, when our country will hold elections, to give the Socialist Party its fourth victory in a row, or to stop it.

And for this process, Rama says that he is waiting with interest to see how the immigrants outside of Albania will vote, who for the first time are given the opportunity to send their vote by envelope.
