Argita Berisha Malltezi, daughter of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has been summoned to SPAK after judge, Irena Gjoka accused her of defamation. Argita accused the judge of corruption to the tune of 500,000, both deny any wrongdoing.

A few weeks before the May 11 elections, pensioners will receive a second bonus. The government approved on Thursday the spring bonus of up to 10 thousand lek. About 700 thousand pensioners will benefit and the opposition has described them as electoral decisions.

The sanctions will also apply to people who have attempted to violate the Dayton Agreement, Prespa, and UN Resolution 1244 on Kosovo.
