The former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, is in Kosovo, where he went to visit the grave of his father who passed away a few days ago.

Under strict security measures, he was brought from The Hague to Kosovo five days after the death of his father, Haxhi Thaçi, and three days after the burial.

Thaçi was not allowed to attend his father’s funeral, although he was permitted to visit him at the hospital in Prishtina on March 13, 2025.
