The Annual Income Declaration for 2024 has been completed by 127 thousand individuals. The figure shows that 16 thousand others, or 10% of employees, did not complete the form by April 1.

However, for this group of employees, there is a second deadline tolerance, with the Tax Directorate urging them to complete it as soon as possible in order to avoid the fine of 3,000 lekë.

The right to voluntarily complete the DIVA form for last year’s income was held by 143 thousand individuals, while for 2023 the number was approximately 74 thousand.

The number of individuals doubled after the gross annual income threshold was lowered to 1.2 million lekë from the previous limit of 2 million.

Also, the obligation applied to those who have up to 50 thousand lekë in untaxed income earned from daily apartment rental income.

Meanwhile, for individuals who are employed by more than one employer, the method of completing and submitting the Individual Annual Income Declaration for 2024 did not change.
