The chairman of the Democratic Party and of the “Alliance for a Great Albania” coalition, Sali Berisha, was in Brescia on Sunday afternoon for a meeting with Albanian emigrants. Also present at the meeting was the Democratic Party’s campaign director, Chris LaCivita, who in his speech urged emigrants to vote for the Democratic Party to bring change to Albania.

“Albania is facing a real crisis. It has lost its best and brightest people, due to the lack of opportunities that Albania no longer offers. It no longer offers them because for the past 12 years, Edi Rama and the Socialists have made it impossible.

The only way to change that is to rise up and vote. Albanians outside of Albania have the opportunity to change the country’s future. Every vote matters—but especially the vote of those abroad. Now, you hold in your hands the power to change the future of your country,” said LaCivita.
