The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution (SPAK) has initiated investigations regarding suspicions over the Democratic Party’s $6 million contract with the American company Continental Strategy.
The lobbying contract of the Democratic Party in the U.S. was signed in April by PD’s Secretary General, Flamur Noka, and was concluded with the company Continental Strategy.
The contract’s value reaches $6 million, of which $750,000 for the first three months has already been paid. The payment guarantee for this amount has been provided by Albanian-American Nuredin Seci.
Continental Strategy is a consulting and lobbying firm based in the United States, specializing in government relations and political strategy. Founded in early 2022 by former ambassador and state representative Carlos Trujillo, the company maintains strong political ties with leading figures of the U.S. Republican Party, including Katie Wiles and Senator Marco Rubio.
The contract states that Continental Strategy agrees to provide the Democratic Party with government relations services, specifically by establishing relationships with key actors in the executive and legislative branches to facilitate the development of policies and the achievement of its electoral and governance objectives.
In a statement to the media distributed by the Democratic Party, it is emphasized that the agreed sum of $6 million will be paid through a foundation created by Albanian-Americans named “Make Albania Great Again.”
In the past three months, this is the second contract signed by the Democratic Party with individuals close to U.S. President Donald Trump. Previously, the PR for the May 11 campaign was entrusted to a company owned by Chris LaCivita, one of Trump’s two lead strategists during the last presidential campaign.
