Korça continues to be one of the most sought-after cities by foreign tourists, mainly from Western Europe.
In the streets of Korça, the presence of German and French tourists has become a common sight, with many saying that Korça is an essential part of their itinerary in Albania.

“This is our first time in Albania, and we’re really enjoying it. It started to rain, but the city is beautifully decorated.”
“We traveled around Albania and also came to Korça. The nature, the people, and the prices are wonderful. The old streets are stunning.”
“We come from Germany, and this is our first time in Albania. The weather isn’t great, but we still enjoyed walking around the city. The old bazaar is beautiful, and Albanians are very welcoming,” said several German tourists.

This is the Beqchua family from France, who are visiting Korça for the first time. They are traveling around the world, and Albania has become part of their journey.
“We are a family from France; we decided to travel around the world. We came to Albania — the nature is beautiful. We visited Lake Prespa, and now we are in Korça — the bazaar, the churches, the food, the museums, everything. It’s a tourist city.”
“I really like Albania. Today we will visit the beer factory, and I’m sure we will return,” said some French tourists.

Tour operators report that this year they have 10% more bookings with foreign tourists compared to last year.
