Prime Minister Edi Rama welcomed King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan to Tirana during an official visit.

Rama shared several photos from the meeting on Facebook, referring to the Jordanian monarch as a dear friend and a valued sovereign.

“Honored to host today with great pleasure, King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan, a globally respected monarch and a particularly dear friend,” Rama wrote.

Earlier, the King of Jordan also met with President Bajram Begaj, where they discussed strengthening political dialogue as well as economic and trade cooperation.

It was also reported that both sides committed to exchanging views on global challenges and the future of the international agenda.
