Socialist Party leader Edi Rama held a meeting this Friday with citizens of Kavajë. Among various topics discussed, he called on all citizens—regardless of political beliefs—to support the Socialist Party with the goal of Albania’s accession to the European Union.

“Today, there is no place or change in Kavajë that makes this city more attractive, more Mediterranean, more European, that doesn’t bear the stamp of my and the Socialist Party’s support. I noticed that the tiles have been replaced with concrete. That’s not us. We don’t do that. We’re here to talk about May 11 and the national elections,” Rama said.

He emphasized that this is an extremely important moment and that every effort must be made to convince all eligible voters—even those who may be on the other side—to join the Socialist Party on May 11.

The Prime Minister stated that the majority of Albanians now clearly understand that the country is moving in the right direction, the economy is continuously improving, and things will get even better in the coming years.

“They know very well that all of this has come from supporting the Socialist Party, and everything we expect and desire will come by continuing to support each other—through the Socialist Party,” Rama added.
