Prime Minister Edi Rama held a thank-you meeting at the Palace of Brigades with the team that represented the Socialist Party in the May 11 elections.

In his remarks, Rama emphasized that the Socialist Party must demonstrate that it will use the power of its fourth term to turn words into action and to self-correct in order to achieve the best results.

“We must start with ourselves and reassess the level of leadership. We need full understanding within our ranks to assure both the Albanian people and the EU, with words that match our actions, that we will use the power of the fourth mandate. We have risen to a height that few believed possible. Reflecting on this, I believe it happened because we managed to bring out the best in ourselves after every victory. The more we self-correct, the more Albania will benefit. Some of us here, from the earlier days, have seen this political family both in darkness and in light,” Rama said.
