At first, I only invested €200 to test it out, but they convinced me that if I invested more, I would earn more.
After many conversations and constant pressure, I ended up investing nearly €3,000—savings I had worked hard to collect with much effort and sacrifice.

This is Erion, a young man from Tirana who was deceived by online platforms. In an exclusive testimony for Euronews Albania, he explains how he fell victim to this scheme.
“For six months I lived with illusions—thinking one day I would see profits—but in the end, I was left only with the disappointment of having been scammed. I was contacted by a platform called Infinity Forex Pro; their ads were everywhere on social media, promising big and quick profits. At first I was skeptical, then they messaged me directly and made me feel as if this was a golden opportunity. I believed them—and that’s how it started.
It looked like I was making money. The numbers kept going up every day and gave me hope that I was doing something. But when I tried to withdraw the money, it didn’t work, and soon after my account was blocked,” he says.

Erion explains that the registration process was very simple and that the people he communicated with had very strong persuasive skills.
“Registration was very easy: just an email, a phone number, and a photo of my ID card for verification. I spoke with several people who introduced themselves with names like Ardit, Blerina, etc. They spoke Albanian fluently and acted professionally. Later, I realized they were fake identities. Because of the high traffic they had, everything had to be done online,” the young man explains.

In this scheme, he also involved two of his friends, who lost all their savings.
“Unfortunately, I told two of my friends about Infinity Forex Pro. I thought it would be a good opportunity, and they trusted me and invested. They lost their money too. This hurts me even more than my own loss—I feel guilty for getting them into this scam,” he says.

Disappointed, Erion urges citizens not to be deceived by promises of quick money.
“I want to tell everyone: never get fooled by platforms like Infinity Forex Pro. They promise quick money, but in reality they take everything you have. Don’t risk your hard-earned savings for empty dreams. Please believe me—the pain of loss is greater than any profit they promise,” the young man appeals.
