Prime Minister Edi Rama has presented today the new government of his fourth mandate. Some names are new, while others have moved from their current positions to new ministerial roles.

  • Belinda Balluku – Continues to serve as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Infrastructure.

  • Albana Koçiu – Appointed as Minister of the Interior, replacing Ervin Hoxha. Previously led the Ministry of Health.

  • Elisa Spiropali – Takes over as Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, succeeding Igli Hasani. She comes from her role as Speaker of Parliament.

  • Petrit Malaj – Supported again to continue his mandate as Minister of Finance.

  • Blendi Gonxhja – Appointed Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Sports. He comes from the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, replacing Mirela Kumbaro.

  • Sofjan Jaupaj – Moves from Deputy Minister to full Minister of Environment.

  • Mirela Kumbaro – Takes over the Ministry of Education, after previously leading the Ministry of Tourism.

  • Evis Sala – Appointed Minister of Health and Social Welfare, coming from Italy.

  • Delina Ibrahimaj – Will head the Ministry of Economy and Innovation. She previously led the Ministry of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate.

  • Diella – The first virtual participant in government, created by Artificial Intelligence. She will be engaged in the field of public procurement, with a mandate to accelerate government processes.

  • Besfort Lamallari – Appointed Minister of Justice, taking over from Ulsi Manja, who will now lead the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs.

  • Pirro Vengu – Continues his mandate as Minister of Defense.

  • Andis Salla – Appointed Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Until now, he served as Mayor of Cërrik.

  • Ervin Demo – Takes on the role of Minister of State for Local Government, replacing Arbjan Mazniku.

  • Majlinda Dhuka – Reconfirmed as Albania’s Chief Negotiator in the EU integration process.

  • Adea Pirdeni – Continues her role as Albania’s Deputy Chief Negotiator.

  • Toni Gogu – Appointed Minister for Relations with Parliament, replacing Taulant Balla.
