Kosovo has been seeing a steady climb in new coronavirus infections during March.
On Tuesday, authorities said 709 citizens had tested positive.
Eight citizens lost the battle to the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the official death toll to 1.731.
More than 80.000 citizens have contracted the virus so far, while an estimated 11.000 cases remain active.
Kosovo is the only state in the Western Balkans region that has not received any vaccine to this date.
