The Democratic Party has described the decision of the Central Election Commission to reject the full list of candidates submitted as “unfair” and “illegitimate”.
In a statement released to the press, the DP said that the move has been “dictated by political interests of the majority”.
According to the Democrats, the ruling majority wants to impose new rules that aim to make a full and fair representation of the parties in coalition with the DP impossible.
“After unilaterally changing the rules of the game, the majority aims to impose new rules to make it impossible for the parties in the coalition to be represented fully and fairly. ”
The Democratic Party said that the unfair decision of the commission will not impede the coalition from complaining at the respective organs.
“This decision will not stop our coalition from racing to its full potential. This decision, like all unfair ones, will be appealed from our side”, wrote the DP in its statement.
