The Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn, together with the Dutch Ambassador, Reinout Vos, conducted a visit to the Delvina Gas Field as part of exploring opportunities in Albania’s energy sector.

In a statement on social media, the U.S. Embassy in Tirana highlighted its interest in cooperation in this sector, emphasizing the importance of a stable and transparent regulatory environment to attract international investment.

According to the embassy, this visit comes at a time when the United States aims to strengthen its role in global energy production, while American investments are considered key to increasing energy security at the international level.

“Highlighting the importance of a transparent regulatory environment to attract international investments, Chargé d’Affaires Nancy VanHorn and Dutch Ambassador Reinout Vos visited the Delvina Gas Field last week to explore opportunities in Albania’s energy sector,” the statement said.
