The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, is set to hold a meeting and working lunch today with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

The announcement came from the government’s information office, which confirmed that the head of the executive traveled to Paris today. This trip and meeting mark Kurti’s first since taking his third mandate as Prime Minister.

There are no details regarding the agenda, but on Thursday, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, claiming to have exclusive information about the meeting, said that Kurti is expected to present two requests to Macron.

According to him, the first is for France to condition Serbia not to use weapons against Albanians, and the second is to support the proposal for NATO to withdraw from the Ground Safety Zone along the border with Serbia, allowing the Kosovo Security Force to take over this responsibility.
