The Ambassador of the United States to Albania, Yuri Kim, is on a visit to Shkodra where she will meet with representatives from the Socialist and Democratic parties.
Around 10:30 AM, the ambassador met with the candidate of the Democrats in the district, Helidon Bushati.
It has been learned that the ambassador gave several recommendations during their 45 minutes meeting, mainly over the conduct of a peaceful and calm campaign.
Afterward, the US ambassador went to the headquarters of the Socialist party, where she briefly met with Edona Bilali, the party’s candidate for the district.
At the moment, Ambassador Kim entered a meeting with officials from the Prosecution of Shkodra but no details have been released on the scope of their dialogue.
