Neritan Sejamini, author of the political commentary show “Me pak fjale” on Euronews Albania, admitted tonight during ‘Political Barometer’ that Durres holds a great significance for the final result of these elections.
He pointed out the fact that 10% of seats in Parliament rely on the county of Durres and together with Tirana they will play a definite role in the end result.
Based on the survey conducted by Euronews Albania in collaboration with MRB, the analyst came to the conclusion that Durres, even compared to other counties, is much more discontent with the current government and this is in the opposition’s favor.
“I can’t tell you exactly how much work the government has done in Durres because in the information they are giving, there is a lot of propaganda and it is hard to distinguish between facts and propaganda, but one thing is certain, the earthquake is a battle-horse, chosen by the majority force and PM Rama for their electoral campaign,’ – stated Sejamini.
According to him, this calamity that hit Albania was part of the political fate of the majority force. Sejamini stated that all the calamities that have happened to Albania recently, like the earthquake or the pandemic have had Edi Rama as their “savior”.
“All this is generally propaganda and it is certainly having an effect,” – concluded the analyst.
