The US ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim has sent out another message today about the April 25 elections.
Through a repost on her Twitter account, of a post made by State Commissioner for the Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, ambassador Kim calls on citizens to not sell their right to vote.
“Don’t sell your right. Don’t surrender your power to criminals. Only YOU must choose your future,” wrote ambassador Kim.

In recent weeks, Yuri Kim has repeatedly called on political subjects to dismiss from their lists, candidates with criminal histories or who have been accused of high levels of corruption from the US Department of State.
In the meantime, political parties have started their campaigns and their leaders and candidates for MP have commenced their meetings with the electorate.
Edi Rama is asking for the third term, while Lulzim Basha and Monika Kryemadhi are asking for political rotation.
