Albania recorded 285 new cases over the last day, a large drop when compared to figures from the past weeks.
So far, more than 90.000 citizens have won the battle against the virus, of which 568 from the past day.
In hospitals, there are 311 patients being treated for COVID-19. Albania has four designated hospitals in the capital three in the region to deal with COVID-194 patients.
The official death toll from the beginning of the pandemic is 2,216 with 6 victims recorded over the last 24 hours. The victims ranged from the age of 54 to 83, authorities said.
Albania’s case count is estimated at around 124.400, while the country still has over 32.100 active infections.
