Kosovo to receive an additional 77 000 anti-COVID vaccines, by May

Until the month of May 2021, Kosovo is expected to receive around 77 thousand extra doses of the vaccine against COVID-19.

The news was announced by the UNICEF program in Kosovo, through their official webpage.

“76.800 additional doses of COVID-19 vaccines will be delivered to Kosovo through may 2021 visa COVAX. We are not safe until everyone is safe! Together we can!”, says the announcement made by UNICEF Kosovo.

On Sunday, Kosovo received its first 24 000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, whereas the vaccination process for citizens began today, starting with medical personnel and adults over 80.

The first one to get the vaccine in Kosovo was PM Albin Kurti.
