As the country began the massive inoculation of citizens above the age of 70, Prime Minister Edi Rama declared that administration of the first dose on the most vulnerable is almost finished.
“In fact, now that we have 20.000 vaccines which arrived yesterday, we’re only in the beginning and we can easily reach 30.000 vaccinations per day, which means that in a very short amount of time, shorter than what we had planned, we can massively administer the first dose and conclude the inoculation of the most vulnerable, then we have more time for the rest of the population”, said PM Rama.
The head of the executive was accompanied by the Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu to see from near a vaccination site of the elderly in the city of Laç.
